Non-geographic numbers or NTS numbers belong to a group of numbers, designated by OFCOM; the range includes:-

Yes. Non-geographic numbers simply point to an existing telephone (landline or mobile, UK or International) or fax number. So whether a customer calls you on your non-geographic number or your normal landline number, you still receive the call.
During the working week orders received before 4pm normally go through the same day. Urgent orders are connected two hours from point of order.
Upon receipt of your order one of our advisors will contact you to confirm your instructions and answer any queries you may have.
We don’t charge any set up or monthly fees for our standard non-geographic numbers. Charges vary according to the type of non-geographic number selected and the destination number of any redirected calls from the 08** number.
Whether or not someone abroad can call these numbers is dependent on the Network Carrier they are using e.g. AT&T, France Telecom etc, rather than the Country itself.
Please remember that callers outside the UK will need to dial the non-geographic number in its international format e.g. +44 870 123 1234
It’s very simple. All you have to is dial 0870 334 0208, enter your PIN and follow the simple instructions and enter the new number you want the 08** to point to.
Please note that change of destination requests are Free of charge.
Yes. We can route calls through to a normal UK landline, fax or mobile number or even an international number.
I’d like to have a handset which rings a certain number just by being picked up. Can this be done?
Can I have my DDI number presented as a CLID?
Do I have to present a CLID to the called party?
An ITG has been accidentally powered off. Will I need engineering support?
Will I have access to the ITG for configuring my own options?
Yes! We can set the service up so that you can make automatic calls to any number simply by dialing as many or as few digits as you like.
Yes! One of the great features of our service is that we can arrange for calls between ITGs to be un-metered between directly connected handsets – you simply dial an ‘extension’ number (which can be anything you prefer) and the other end rings and can be answered as per a normal phone call. For this service, EWC charge a flat management fee which will be negotiated during contract discussions.
We could bar the call altogether, but we can go a stage further and can configure the service in such a way that any previously stated dial string can be forwarded to any other number. So if the user wants to call a local number, we can make sure that number actually gets directed to that local number All we need to know are the numbers that you wish to direct.
Yes! We can arrange for one of the handsets to be configured this way.
Yes and no. We can set any number to be presented as a CLI by the ITG, but this can only be done on a per port basis i.e. if you were using a 4 port ITG then up to 4 DDIs could be programmed – one for each port. Although further users would be able to use the service as per normal, the CLI presented by them would be one of the original 4.
We can arrange for any set of digits to be presented, or withhold the CLI altogether. Please note, we would not present a CLI which could be that of another person i.e. we would choose to send a string of digits which would not be a normal dial string such as ‘11111111’.
The equipment we use is extremely robust and has been designed to independently return to a fully working state after a power cycle – the unit will be in full working order again in less than 60s.
No. EWC fully support and maintain the boxes on your behalf as part of the service fees charged.
The equipment we employ is industry leading in reliability and robustness. If it should occur that an ITG appears to be unreliable, then EWC will replace the unit in its entirety and configure the new equipment to your needs as part of the service fees.
